Anyone who has ever made an apple pie can commiserate with the sheer absurdity of peeling all those apples. As delicious as apple pies, tarts, and turnovers are to eat, the work that goes into making those tart and sugary compotes is not to be underestimated. But while we'd love to make the task of peeling apples easier, we're not quite sure we're accident-proof enough for this trick: apple peeling with a drill.

We could barely believe our eyes when we saw this trick play out, but risky or not, it works. Don't believe us? Check out the steps and video below:

Start by putting the drill in the core of the apple:

Then use a speed-peeler to quickly peel the skin off:

And voilà! Peeled apples in a matter of seconds. (Just make sure to be extremely careful if you're going to try this on your own.)
