From making healthy dinners to whipping up a batch of homemade wine, the Instant Pot has become a go-to kitchen appliance for people craving ease and convenience—and pretty soon it will be able to do even more.

The new "Max" Instant Pot, set to hit retailers in late June, will come with several new features including a canning option. The new "pressure canning" component means you can make delicious pickled fruits, veggies, and jams via your Instant Pot.

The updated 10-in-1 appliance, which will retail for around $200, lets users cook with pressure up to 15 pounds per square inch (psi) meaning it will cook food even faster than the brand's previous 12 psi machines, according to The Kitchn. This new feature also reaches higher temperatures, which allows users to safely pressure can meats and other veggies at home—something you couldn't do with older versions, according to CNET.

The updated gadget, according to Wire Cutter, will also come with an automatic stirrer feature called "pulse release," which ensures soups and sauces are perfectly made. It will also offer more vent settings, including automatic slow venting, a quick pulse of venting, and quick-release venting. And users should expect it to look a bit different, too, thanks to its new touchscreen design and control dial.
