This past September, the slow-cooker game changed forever when Ree Drummond (aka The Pioneer Woman) released her very own line of Instant Pots. The $99 device, available at Walmart and on Walmart.com, had all the bells and whistles of the Instant Pots you know and love, acting as pressure cooker, slow cooker, rice cooker, sauteer, steamer, and warmer all in one. In true Pioneer Woman spirit, it also boasted two vintage-inspired, floral designs and a peppy, bright blue exterior.
Who could ask for anything more?
Well, apparently, "more" is exactly what we're about to get. Beginning today (Sunday, April 28) and continuing until Tuesday, April 30, we'll be able to snag one of these kitchen counter cuties—either of the two snazzy designs—for just $69.99. That's nearly $30 off.
...We'll take twelve.
That's not all that's included in the sweet deal either. Ree's artful Instant Pot also comes with a booklet of Pioneer Woman-approved recipes specifically intended to be made using the machine, so you'll actually have something to, you know, do with it.
Funnily enough, despite the success of her own line of Instant Pots, Ree wasn't a huge fan of the gadget when she first heard about it. "I tend to be a little resistant to new kitchen equipment," she told Delish last fall. "I usually think the tried and true Dutch oven is the way to go."
Gasp.
But don't worry, Instant Pot lovers: Ree did come around at long last. A friend gave her one of the machines to try for her birthday, and she finally saw the light—which eventually prompted her to launch her own line. "Once I understood what it was about and how much time it can save, I was really hooked."
Thank goodness for that. Now, let's get shopping.
