We hope you're hungry because there's a new addition to the Costco food court and it's quite the massive bite.
As you may recall, Costco recently had a bit of a miss with their mango smoothie, but they're hoping to redeem themselves with their new roast beef sandwich. Available for $9.99, the sandwich is packed with sliced roast beef, and is topped with onion relish, a mayo/mustard blend, lettuce, roasted cherry tomatoes, and red onions.
One of the first to try the new sammie was @costcohotfinds and according to her, the behemoth of a sandwich is a solid win.
"Costco just added a brand new food court item to more warehouses. It's the roast beef sandwich and the food court was busier today than on a Saturday because of it. This sandwich is a monster food, I could barely finish half. The artisan bread was so soft and you could tell it was just a great cut of roast beef. I'll definitely be getting this one again," she revealed.
Given that the Costco food court is known for its affordable bites—their hot dog and soda combo is quite iconic—a number of people have concerns about the cost of the roast beef sandwich.
"I’m sorry but after I spend $700 I need a $1.50 soda and slice of pizza as a reward, $10 is out of my Costco budget," said one TikToker.
"Im a little disappointed at the $10 price tag. You can go to a restaurant and get a Philly combo with fries for $9.99," another person commented.
There also appears to be pretty mixed reviews regarding the taste of the sandwich. One person on TikTok declared that "It is very good" while another announced that "It was alright. I dk if i would get it again."
