While music ranks pretty high, family will always top country superstar Miranda Lambert's set of priorities and passions. Which is why it's not surprising that her upcoming cookbook releasing on April 25, Y'ALL EAT YET?: Welcome to the Pretty B*tchin' Kitchen, is essentially an ode to two of the women who made her into the icon she is today: her grandmother and mom. In addition to the soon-to-be released book, Miranda also curated a line of homestyle kitchen and home goods, dubbed Wanda June after the two women, for Walmart that released just last year that's also inspired by the two women.
So, with so much going on between her Las Vegas residency, her upcoming book launch, and her extensive work in animal rescue, you might find yourself wondering if Miranda even has time for a normal weekend. And you couldn't be more wrong! The country music singer makes the most of her 400-acre horse farm in Tennessee, spending any weekend she can there with her friends, family, and fur babies (of which she has many!). Here's a peek into into a few products that make Miranda Lambert's weekends on the farm so special.
"One of the coolest things about reaching this point in my career is that I’ve had the opportunity to stretch my creativity in new ways. This line is named for my Nonny, Wanda Louise, and my Mom, Beverly June. It’s an ode to the vintage dishes that I remember in their kitchens growing up and a celebration of the women who taught me how to make a house a home – the same women whose recipes color the pages of my new book, Y’ALL EAT YET?"
"Especially with my Velvet Rodeo residency in Las Vegas, the dry air can really have an impact. I love all of the Laneige hydration products to keep me going–especially this lip mask."
"I’ve learned over the years that it’s so important to protect your skin with sunscreen, especially when you’re on outdoor stages a lot like I am. Even if I’m not spending a lot of time in the sun, though, I try to remember to apply this every day. They even have some tinted options when you want a little coverage without a full face of makeup."
"This is one of my favorites. Whether I’m outside with the animals or on a long run on the road, I swear by this lotion to keep my skin protected and hydrated."
"Whether I’m on the road or floating the river in Texas, these are the perfect way to have a delicious drink on the go. Their founder, Katie Beal Brown, is a fellow Texan and I have so much admiration for the brand she’s built! It’s been an honor to team up with her this year as a fellow female entrepreneur."
"Music has always played an important role in my family–I remember spending many nights as a kid listening to my dad play songs on his guitar, and of course taking mine out to play the honky-tonks around Texas when I was a teenager. So many important memories are made when you’re playing music with friends. No matter what your weekend plans are, having a guitar nearby is always a good idea… you never know what magic will happen."
"No weekend is complete without my dogs nearby! Anyone who knows me knows that music and mutts are my two biggest passions, and my MuttNation Foundation has allowed me to combine those to be a voice for shelter pets who need our help. We’ve been fortunate to team up with Tractor Supply Co., and they have a line of items that all help fund our rescue and adoption programs."
"My family helps run a tasting room with our own Red 55 wines at my Pink Pistol Boutique back in my hometown of Lindale, Texas. From reds to whites to bubbly, there’s something for everyone. I love to have a glass of wine when I’m unwinding at home after a run of shows – and these are all tasty options!"
"On stage or on the farm, a good pair of boots is key. When we started Idyllwind, it was important to me that we created items that empower women to feel their best while they go out there and make a mark on the world. These red leather boots are perfect for that!"
