Is Meijer open on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day 2022?
The beloved supercenter stores — which sell everything from groceries and pet care products to clothing, jewelry, and toys — pride themselves on being open year-round and on holidays. The one holiday that they’re not open on, however, is Christmas Day. With that in mind, if you live in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, or Wisconsin—where Meijer stores are located—you’ll want to check your list twice before leaving the grocery store on Christmas Eve, for if you need anything additional, you won’t be able to return on Christmas Day.
What’s worth mentioning about Meijer, though, is that their stores are open from 6 a.m. to midnight every day, making them one of the superstores with the best hours around. So, if you do have some holiday shopping still left on your to-do list, know that you have plenty of time to make a trip, so long as it’s before Christmas Day itself.
