Between all the cookie eating, holiday cocktail drinking, card writing and Hallmark movie marathons, you're probably a bit frazzled when Christmas comes around. Even those of us who make our lists and check them twice find ourselves scrambling for a few last-minute Christmas gifts every now and then. Whether it's a festive Christmas decoration that'll help you decorate the Christmas tree in style, a fun stocking stuffer that you know will put a smile on your youngest child's face, or hostess gift for the neighbor's annual holiday party, you could probably use a quick trip to your local dollar store.
Before you make the trip, you it'd be nice to know if the stores are open on Christmas Day, right? Here, we're sharing the Christmas hours for Dollar Tree, Dollar General, and Family Dollar. Dollar Tree Christmas Hours
All Dollar Tree locations will be closed on Christmas Day, a company spokesperson confirmed to CountryLiving.com. You'll want to make your list and check it twice...before December 25.
Family Dollar Christmas Hours
The same holds true for Family Dollar. This year, all Family Dollar locations will be closed on December 25. So do your best to plan ahead this year.
Dollar General Holiday Hours
If you want to stop by Dollar General for final holiday purchases, you'll have to do so before Christmas Day. A spokesperson tells CountryLiving.com that though stores will be open on Christmas Eve, all Dollar General locations will be closed on Christmas Day. To check out your location's hours year round, you can look at the store locator.
It seems as if Dollar General is in line with a few other establishments that decided to close on December 25, including grocery stores such as Sam's Club, ALDI, and Publix. But don't worry—there are still a handful of stores and restaurants open on Christmas, including CVS, and Walgreens/Duane Reade. Happy shopping!
