It doesn't matter what holiday it is, we're always in the mood for coffee. But for a long weekend of festivities that Independence Day brings, you really can't skip your morning brew. Because the 4th of July is a federal holiday, there are a lot of places — banks, post offices, the stock market — that are closed. So you might be curious if your go-to coffee spot, Dunkin', will be too.

Is Dunkin' closed on the 4th of July?

Most Dunkin' locations will be open and operating during normal business hours. Dunkin' locations are franchises so it's always best to call ahead to find out what the hours will be for the shop nearest you. That being said, many are open from 5 A.M. until 9 P.M., although some will be open later, around 8 A.M. and close later around 10 P.M. But the good thing is, they will be open and ready to serve up your iced coffee. And if you're lucky, you may even be able to score a donut that's decked out in red, white, and blue icing. Just be sure to get enough for the whole fam.

And don't forget, there are a ton of July 4th sales to shop after you've had your coffee boost!
