We love Easter, for its family-fun activities, delicious foods, and festive outfits. But the holiday takes a lot of organization, from filling Easter baskets to planning the perfect Easter brunch menu. It's understandable if you need to make a last-minute trip to the store!
Perhaps you miscalculated how much ham you needed to feed the crowd, or you need more butter for your Easter cakes. Or maybe you wanted to check out the new viral 5-pound chocolate-peanut butter cream pie. Regardless, when you start thinking about what stores are open on Easter your thoughts inevitably turn to Costco. It's our favorite one-stop shop for bulk buying groceries, paper goods, cleaning supplies, seasonal items, and more. But first you'll have to know an answer to the important question:
Is Costco open on Easter 2023?
But if your Easter plans involve a trip to Costco, you'll need to plan ahead, because all Costco locations are closed on Easter Sunday. Costco closes just seven days a year. The others are New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. If you haven't finished your Easter shopping and your plans involve a trip to Costco, you'll need to make sure you have everything wrapped up on April 8. Stores are open normal hours on Saturday (typically 9 a.m.-6 p.m., but check the store locator for the warehouse nearest you). All locations will resume normal operating hours on April 10.
