Of all the rooms in the cottage house Jenna Diermann of Jenna Sue Design Co. recently renovated, she was most excited to reveal the kitchen. And we can see why. This transformation is truly something to be proud of.
Last week, we shared before and after photos of the exterior of this six-bedroom Mi Wuk Village, California, property refresh, and now here's a glimpse inside the incredible kitchen makeover.
It started as a "60-year-old relic" covered completely, of course, in wood paneling.

That is, until Diermann gutted it.
She replaced the doorway with a new wall where the stove and fridge will live, gave the panels a much-needed coat of white paint, and installed new cabinets, butcher block counters, and flooring.
Ready for the afters?
Custom built-ins, a tile backsplash, farmhouse sink, and a gorgeous wood-covered vent hood elevated the room.
Copper pulls, knobs, and light fixtures were the unique finishing touch that Diermann says sets the kitchen apart from the rest. We love how they pop against the onyx cabinets.
It took four months of hard work, but we'd say it was definitely worth it.
