In a world of husband-and-wife house rehab duos (think Chip and Joanna or Ben and Erin), these three women prove you don't need a handy husband to make your flipping dreams a reality—you just need a best friend or two.

Take a look at their social media channels, and you'll quickly realize why the pals and founders of Three Birds Renovations have amassed a huge following: They're not only incredibly talented, but their career path is pretty inspiring, too.

Bonnie Hindmarsh, Erin Cayless, and Lana Taylor are three suburban moms and best friends from Sydney, Australia, who left their corporate jobs to follow their house-flipping and designing dreams. In just three years, they built their flipping business and garnered a reputation for beautiful transformations. Now, they renovate and sell suburban homes for a profit in a 12-week timeline while raising their kids.

Even though the Australians haven't made their way to America's television lineup yet (HGTV, take note of these three!), you can watch their projects come to life in their show with realestate.com.au on YouTube.

Here's what you need to know about the trio:

1. They've been best friends for 15 years.

"In that time, we've witnessed each other meet and marry our husbands and between us, we now have nine beautiful children," they wrote on their website. "In 2014 we walked away from our corporate careers in pursuit of a more fulfilling life. Rather than work long hours to build someone else's business, we wanted to work shorter hours to build our own. Add to that the fun of renovating a house with your two best mates and we were no longer building just a house and new business, we were building a life we loved."

2. Their growing families inspired the career transition.

"For us, spending time with our families and doing school drop off and pick-up was more important than climbing the corporate ladder," Lana told The Daily Mail. The three women are moms to a herd of kiddos, and they're all married to professional rugby players.

3. They divvy up the renovation costs ...

While house flipping can be a risky and costly business to get into—especially if you lack in construction experience like these friends—it helps to form a partnership. The renovating trio needs about $1 million to buy and flip each property, and they're each required to bring about $333,000 to the table. They borrow the required funds and use their own homes and assets to secure the line of credit.

4. ... and the responsibilities, based on their skill sets.

Bonnie, the creative director, tackles everything under design. Erin, the operations director, manages the projects and timelines. And Lara, the marketing director, handles selling and promotion.

5. They have seriously stunning style.

Their designs are notably light and airy with plenty of white materials and neutral colors, but in every project you'll also find pops of color and standout pieces like turquoise fish scale-tiled walls, retro-inspired backyard conversation pits, or one-of-a-kind teal beaded chandeliers.
