A beachfront home in Santa Monica built for silent film actress Norma Talmadge and subsequently owned by reclusive business magnate Howard Hughes and Hollywood legend Cary Grant is being offered for sale. Scroll down to see inside the unique property.

The 5,530-square-foot main house was built in 1930 for silent film actress Norma Talmadge.

The current owner preserved many of the home's original details, but removed the barbed wire on the top of the fence that Hughes had installed.

Jennifer Diener purchased the home 38 years ago with her husband Royce, who died in May 2017 after serving as president & CEO of American Medical International. He was also a board member for the L.A. Philharmonic and UCLA Medical Center. The couple reportedly paid $750,000 for the house.

There are Pacific Ocean views from many of the rooms.
