The couple has lived in the abode, which is just 30 minutes outside of Nashville, since 2007, reports The Tennessean.
Six months later, the home is still on the market—and it looks like $975,000 has been slashed off the original cost. Listings on Zillow and French King now show the property at the reduced price of $2.48 million.
The gated estate at 2032 Old Hillsboro Road spans a secluded 35-acre area with a barn, garden, and stunning views of the rolling hills. A long driveway leads to a red-brick farmhouse and guest cottage, together totaling 5,056 square feet, including four bedrooms, four bathrooms, and two half-baths.
The main house features an open floor plan with skylights in the living room and a stainless-steel fireplace in the family room, according to Variety, plus granite countertops and stainless steel cabinetry in the galley kitchen. On the upper floor, the master bedroom includes a sitting room, huge walk-in closet, and a stunning bathroom with granite counters, double sinks, and a large tub. The lower level holds the additional bedrooms, a den, home gym, and a small office.
The smaller guesthouse provides living space for groundskeepers or other on-site employees, or—for someone who plans to make the property their full-time residence—the perfect spot to house out-of-town visitors.
